Several organizations launched Central Minnesota Cares last week, as a non-partisan issue campaign with an eye toward the upcoming primary and general elections.
Organizers are hoping to inspire a movement akin to the “Vote No” campaign of 2012. The campaign organized around a proposed constitutional amendment which would ban marriage between same-sex couples. The amendment was on the November ballot.
