A community vigil was held to call on leaders to help an immigrant woman desperate to keep her children. Rosa Gutiérrez Lopez is the mother of three U.S. born children, who is fighting to be with her family.
“I arrived to the county December 11th,” said Rosa Gutiérrez Lopez. Back in 2005 Rosa fled El Salvador to escape the violence – but now she’s trying to avoid being deported and being separated from her children who can only see her when they visit from Virginia.
