Between tears and a plane ticket to his native Honduras , a mother of six children showed up this Thursday at the federal offices of the Immigration and Customs Service (ICE), thinking she would be deported and that it would be his last hours inside the United States , fortunately it was not like that.
She is Marta Rodríguez who, for almost a decade, has presented herself to sign in front of officers of the Immigration and Customs Service, ICE, without facing any inconvenience.
On March 29, everything changed when she was notified that she could be deported just days before the celebration of Mother’s Day.
