The concern is that over the past month i.c.e. has been releasing these family who is are seeking asylum here in San Diego with no local support or resources, no way to reach family members and no idea what to do next really other than to show up at the asylum hearing at a future date. The San Diego Rapid Response urgent network is going to look for work today. The network is a coalition of human rights, service and faith-based organizations. They’ve been providing humanitarian, transportation assistance, resources like food and shelter, but they say the growing need is quickly surpassing their ability to help.
