“I think we had a really productive conversation about how we can work in partnership to that end,” said Tara Parrish with the Pioneer Valley Project.

Massachusetts has received the second highest number of hurricane victims, following right behind Florida.

The ultimate goal is to find permanent housing solutions.

“I thought they would have answers, some type of plan.  That we would leave happy,” Siaca added.

While the future remains foggy, supporters and families alike remain optimistic.

“We are going to be working with our partners across the country to support the legislation that has been introduced both by Senator Markey and Warren and Bill Nelson from Florida,” Parrish said.
