The IE Funders Alliance Rapid Response Fund has raised $1 million from local and regional funding partners and recently distributed $480,000 to 35 local nonprofit organizations.
The first round of grants was awarded to pre-selected organizations acting as information and service hubs to nonprofit networks. Funds are assisting these organizations in their efforts to inform, organize and mobilize their networks.
The second round of grants support nonprofit organizations that serve vulnerable populations and are facing increased need as well as decreased funding. Critical services include health education, childcare, food distribution, shelter, family supports and advocacy to address barriers to support.
