Jim Keddy, 55, of Sacramento, has been appointed to the Tobacco Education and Research Oversight Committee. Keddy has been executive director at Youth Forward since 2017. He was vice president at Children Now from 2015 to 2017. Keddy held several positions at the California Endowment from 2009 to 2015, including vice president, chief learning officer and director of healthy communities north. He held multiple positions at the People Improving Communities through Organizing National Network as a national consulting director from 2005 to 2009 and state director from 1997 to 2009. He was executive director at Sacramento Area Congregations Together from 1996 to 2000 and an adjunct faculty member at the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University in 1991.
