Faith Leaders Remember Auxiliary Bishop David O’Connell Following His Death

Washington — The leaders and board members of Faith in Action offered condolences and prayers for the greater Los Angeles area, especially the Catholic community, upon learning the news of Auxiliary Bishop David O’Connell’s death.

Faith in Action released the following statement:

“We are saddened to learn about the tragic death of Bishop O’Connell. He dedicated his life to caring for the least among us and was a leader who worked tirelessly to build community with immigrants, those living in poverty, and those whom society easily cast away. We mourn his loss and will keep the greater Los Angeles community whom he loved so dearly, in our prayers.”
