The Lowndes Signal – On Saturday, July 26, Faith in Action Alabama will host a march and rally to raise awareness about the Trump Administration’s decision to cut funding that would address Lowndes County’s raw sewage crisis. Earlier this year, the Administration cut funding earmarked to help Lowndes County address its raw sewage crisis, which poses a significant public health risk for the residents of Lowndes County. Faith in Action Alabama seeks to raise awareness and hold our public officials accountable for addressing this problem. This cut in funding is an attack on some of Alabama’s most vulnerable residents. Advocating for this issue to be addressed is about working to ensure the lives of Lowndes County’s residents are being honored.
