Faith in Action Condemns Political Violence Following Death of Charlie Kirk

Washington – Following the death of Charlie Kirk, Bishop Dwayne Royster, executive director of Faith in Action, issued the following statement condemning political violence: 

“There is never a moral justification for violence. We offer our prayers to Mr. Kirk’s family and the students and community at Utah Valley University. This shooting is yet another in a string of politically-motivated attacks. Hate and violence are pervasive forces that threaten our democracy. As people of faith, we will continue to stand in the gap for all God’s children and be a force for healing and peace.”
