Nanci Palacios represented Faith in Florida and said she is a community organizer in Hillsborough County. His family was an agricultural worker for many years. “I have DACA [Deferred Action Program for Childhood Arrivals] and since the elections passed in 2016, my life has been very uncertain because we do not know what is going to happen with DACA,” said the student at the University of South Florida (USF).

Regarding having met Huerta, the young woman said: “She is humble, she was here taking pictures with us early, she was talking to us, everything I imagined what it would be like, that’s the way it is”.
