Congressman TJ Cox will be joining several immigrant advocacy groups to discuss the importance of the recently introduced Dream and Promise Act of 2019 at the Science Art Music Academy on Wednesday, March 20 at 2 p.m.
Congressman Cox, along with Mi Familia Vota, United Farm Workers Foundation (UFW), Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA), Faith in the Valley, and the Services, Immigrant Rights & Education Network (SIREN) will discuss the Act as well as the Blue Card Bill, the President’s Fiscal Year 2020 proposed budget and the Administration’s proposal to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census.
