A year ago, a group of Brookline congregations come together with congregations and community groups in nearby communities to create a collaborative dedicated to helping undocumented and vulnerable immigrants. Now, the Newton Sanctuary and Solidarity Collaborative (NSSC) is actively involved in protecting an undocumented family and putting their beliefs into action.
The NSSC includes six more core members: Boston Workmen’s Circle, Temple Sinai and Temple Beth Zion in Brookline, the Parish of St. Paul, Congregation Dorshei Tzedek and Temple Emanuel in Newton and the Needham Community Coalition.
