WPTZ/NBC5 – MONTPELIER, Vt. — The recent arrest of Mohsen Mahdawi, a Vermont resident and Columbia University student, has ignited a wave of protests and political response across the state.
Mahdawi was detained last week by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents outside the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in Colchester.
