Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland is quickly becoming a strong advocate for Gbohoutou. He says that Gbohoutou is “part of our community” and recognizes that he could be in “imminent danger” if deported. Van Hollen contacted ICE and DHS, telling them that deporting Gbohoutou would be “unjust.”
