In Orange County, a coalition of more than 20 organizations representing faith, immigrant, community and civil rights groups called on local leaders to “denounce and disavow Donald Trump’s racist and dehumanizing statements comparing immigrants to animals.”
“For over a year, the Trump administration has made clear it is willing to scapegoat and punish immigrants and refugees as part of a craven political strategy,” read the statement signed by the Korean Resource Center, the Orange County Congregation Community Organization and other groups.
