Heavy rain didn’t stop folks in Huntsville from coming out and speaking out against issues they call unjust.

Faith in Action Alabama held a Healthy Community in Unity Prayer Vigil Tuesday night. Community leaders spoke about how they want to see an end to issues like gun violence, immigration detainment, and mass incarceration.

“We are tired of gun violence! We are tired of immigration detainment! We are tired of those trying to make it difficult for us to vote!” said Reverend Jacqueline Wilson. “We want to dismantle the disparities. We want to dismantle racism.”
