LANCASTER – Vowing to keep coming back, about 50 people protested Thursday in front of the Verizon Wireless store at 1926 N. Memorial Drive Thursday demanding the company rehire former employee Martin Hopkins.
Hopkins, 34, was fired June 13 and said his dismissal was racially motivated, along with being retaliatory because he once tried to form a union at the store. The company issued a statement contesting those claims.
