Later Wednesday, busloads of displaced Puerto Rican families living in hotels in Massachusetts plan to lobby congressional lawmakers on Capitol Hill to extend federal assistance to hurricane victims.

“We really want to bring more attention to the plight of American families,” said Richard Morales, director of policy for Faith in Action, a network of faith-based groups. “Right now, they can’t go back.”
