A coalition of health care groups and concerned individuals will deliver letters and a petition signed by hundreds of Hoosiers to Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill’s Statehouse office Friday.

The documents demand that Indiana withdraw from a federal lawsuit that would dismantle the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Hill signed Indiana onto the lawsuit in February, joining with 19 other states. The lawsuit puts the ACA and its numerous protections in jeopardy. If it is successful, insurance companies could once again deny coverage to, or drop, the 2.7 million Hoosiers with pre-existing conditions.
