The George Gund Foundation in Cleveland has announced summer grants totaling nearly $9.3 million, including several grants in support of local voter advocacy initiatives.

The awards include more than $350,000 in support of initiatives designed to increase the participation of historically underrepresented populations in the electoral process. Recipients include the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, which was awarded $200,000 in support of its efforts to advance social, racial, and economic justice through voter registration drives, criminal justice reforms, and leadership development and training.
