A Honduran woman seeking to stay in the United States was arrested when she went to her routine immigration service, officials said.

The defenders met Monday outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office in Baltimore when Maria Marta Rodriguez, 53, of New Carrollton, Maryland, reported for her regular visit, the press reported.

His lawyer, Hector Mora, did not respond to the request for comment, but he had already informed The Baltimore Sun that Rodriguez had been waiting for asylum and since 2009 he had worked legally.
