Community leaders received a presentation on their potential roles in the upcoming 2020 U.S. Census campaign in a meeting at the Calaveras County Library in San Andreas on April 4.
The meeting was hosted by the California Complete Count, a state-funded group coordinating outreach and communication efforts to reach hardest-to-count (HTC) residents based on demographic, socioeconomic and housing characteristics. Some of those include children under the age of 5, people living close to or below the poverty line, veterans, immigrants and refugees.
