It was a unique way of protesting but their message “Let Justice Roll” was heard loud and clear by those driving down Glenstone Avenue.
“This is a Covid safe event where people of faith can get out and show their support for the black community in Springfield.” said organizer Susan Schmalzbauer.
Churches across the Ozarks came together at Evangel University for this event hosted by Faith Voices of Southwest Missouri, a multi-faith and multi-racial group.
Before they took off down Glenstone a few faith leaders like Pastor Russell Ewell spoke on what needs to change.
