The local organization Faith in the Valley will host an event Wednesday afternoon to train individuals to become advocates working to reduce the housing shortage in Stockton. The event will take place from 3-5 p.m. at the Victory in Praise campus, 2027 E. Harding Way.
Attendees will “learn how to speak to power, learn how to tell (their) story strategically and learn how to give voice to those whose voice has been taken,” a Faith in the Valley flyer says.
