Members of Faith Voices of Columbia released their “moral agenda” for 2019 on Monday morning at a news conference in the Daniel Boone City Building.
A couple dozen people gathered in a conference room, including the group’s members who are congregational leaders of varying religions and denominations. Many held signs that read “Families First” in both English and Spanish or the name of the organization. Members donned symbols of their faith, from clerical collars and stoles to patches and hijabs. They want to become a guiding voice for Columbia and Boone County.
