Rabbi Miriam Terlinchamp is back home after spending a few days in Texas at the Mexican border. She and more than 120 other Jewish leaders joined arms with other clergy calling for change at the detention center in Tornillo.
Terlinchamp says the group was not given permission to enter the facility but did see three buses.
“The first bus had children on it, the second bus had the windows covered so we couldn’t see who was in there. The third was empty,” said Terlinchamp.
