A news release from Together Colorado, a faith-based organization of which Ferrante-Roseberry’s congregation is a member, stated that the ballot blessing is ecumenical, non-partisan, interfaith and solely for encouraging people to vote.
Ferrante-Roseberry said that Together Colorado’s Boulder County Interfaith Leader’s caucus held a ballot blessing ahead of the 2016 election. She said the caucus has met for about nine years and works on issues ranging from immigration to mental health.
Together Colorado, according to its website, works on criminal justice, education, economic justice, health care and immigration issues and is made up of about 40 churches and schools — including five in Boulder County.
