This Sunday, August 26, Faith in Action Alabama’s LIVE FREE campaign will host a homecoming celebration at the First Seventh-day Adventist Church in Huntsville to provide support services and empower formerly incarcerated members of the Huntsville community. Sunday’s event will feature a job fair, health fair, professional clothing closet for job interviews, on-the-spot mock interviews, food and fellowship.
The celebration will also include a voter rights restoration clinic offered by Faith in Action Alabama and the Alabama Voting Rights Project: Restorative Vote Assistance (SPLC Alabama).The is part of the Huntsville Hub’s Turn Up: Go Vote voter engagement campaign which is focusing on voter turnout in the lead up to the November 6 mid-term elections.
