Dallas District Attorney Faith Johnson’s office appears to be less interested in treating kids like kids than in bowing to the outrage of the more powerful and privileged.
The Dallas County district attorney’s office recently announced that it will seek to transfer six young teens accused of car theft and robbery to adult court. The teens are accused of stealing a car and robbing several different people in Oak Cliff, including one couple at gunpoint. The victims have stated they want “aggressive” retribution. DA Johnson reportedly met with the couple and said she intends to seek adult charges against the teens where possible.
