San Diego Organizing Group, an affiliate of Faith In Action, kicks off a weekend of action with prayers for migrant families and for the soul of our nation.
Hundreds of interfaith leaders will light candles and gather in prayer to support thousands of immigrant families now separated at the border. Following the Friday vigil, attendees will roll out sleeping bags to stay the night at a Catholic church near the border to demonstrate solidarity with their immigrant brothers and sisters.
Friday’s vigil will mark the beginning of weekend-long demonstrations by faith leaders at the church and in the family separation zone.
